Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer located in Khed.
The Electrical Maintenance
Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery used in automation, SPMs, and production environments. Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing faults, planning and executing preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensuring minimal downtime of electrical and control systems. The role involves reading and interpreting electrical drawings,
coordinating with mechanical and design teams, supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The engineer will also document maintenance activities, recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in electrical system maintenance, including troubleshooting of motors, drives, panels, and industrial wiring.
- Candidates should possess skills in automation and control systems, such as PLCs, sensors, control circuits, and basic instrumentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, layout drawings, and technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in preventive and predictive maintenance planning, equipment health monitoring, and root-cause analysis of failures.
- Candidates should possess skills in safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and adherence to electrical and industrial safety standards.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, automation, or machine-building environments will be beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Khed, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Robust problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain clear and accurate documentation.
