Role Description: Electrical ITI Technician (Shift Handling & Utilities)

Key Responsibilities

Shift Handling

- Manage routine electrical maintenance during assigned shifts.
- Respond rapidly to breakdown calls to minimize production downtime.
- Check, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and machinery.
- Maintain daily shift logs, breakdown reports, and energy meter readings.

Utility Operations

- Operate and maintain critical plant utility equipment safely.
- Monitor Diesel Generators (DG sets), Transformers, and Air Compressors.
- Maintain HT/LT panels, APFC panels, and Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS).
- Oversee chilling plants, cooling towers, and water pumping systems,



Air-conditioning Controls Systems.

Preventive Maintenance & Safety

- Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for electrical assets.
- Follow lockout-tagout (LOTO) protocols during all maintenance activities.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Ensure workplace safety and maintain 5S standards in the utility area.

Skills & Competencies

- Clear understanding of electrical circuit diagrams and drawings.
- Hands-on experience with motors, starters, VFDs, and PLC wiring.
- Knowledge of standard electrical safety norms and regulations.
- Ability to work independently under pressure in a rotational shift environment.
- Basic computer skills for logging data and generating reports.
- Experience Requirement- 2 to 3 years.
