Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Day-to-day activities include developing electrical layouts and schematics, performing load calculations, preparing technical specifications and BOQs,



and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for MEP integration and BIM workflows. The role involves participating in design reviews, supporting tender documentation, providing technical inputs during project execution, and assisting with site coordination as needed.

This is a full time hybrid role based in Mumbai, with a combination of office-based collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for building services.

Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals relevant to MEP systems.

Candidates should possess practical experience in Power Distribution design, including HT and LT systems.

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.

Experience with relevant standards and codes (national and international) for building electrical systems.

Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, Revit/BIM tools) and MS Office.

Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Effective written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative working style.

Prior experience in consultancy or building services projects is an advantage.
