Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer – MEP will be responsible for developing electrical design solutions for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, load calculations, cable and conduit sizing, and power distribution schemes, as well as coordinating with mechanical, plumbing, and fire-fighting disciplines to deliver integrated MEPF designs. The role involves reviewing technical specifications, supporting the preparation of BOQs, assisting in tender documentation,



and collaborating with project managers, architects, and site teams to resolve design-related queries.

The engineer will also participate in design reviews, value engineering, and optimization of energy-efficient electrical systems. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering, with a solid understanding of building services and safety standards.

Candidates should possess skills in Design Engineering, including the ability to develop detailed drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.

Candidates should possess knowledge of Electricity and Power Distribution, including load assessment, panel scheduling, and distribution network planning.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

Experience in MEPF design for residential, commercial, or industrial projects, preferably within a consulting environment.

Proficiency with relevant design and drafting tools (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar BIM/CAE software).

Familiarity with applicable electrical codes, standards, and energy efficiency guidelines.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Good written and verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to documentation and design reviews.
