Role Description The E-commerce Marketplace Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for managing and optimizing product listings across marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, and other relevant platforms. Daily tasks include updating product information, pricing, and inventory; monitoring performance metrics; and implementing strategies to improve visibility, conversions, and sales.

The specialist will coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate product content, manage customer queries and feedback on marketplace channels, and support promotional campaigns. The role also involves analyzing marketplace data, tracking competitor activity,



and recommending improvements to enhance revenue and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong commerce and e-commerce marketplace knowledge, including product listing, pricing, and basic catalog management.
- Solid analytical skills to interpret sales data, conversion metrics, and marketplace reports and translate them into actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and handling written interactions with marketplace support and customers.
- Customer service skills to address queries, manage reviews, and support a positive buying experience across platforms.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to support promotional strategies, cross-selling, and upselling within marketplace guidelines.
- Familiarity with major e-commerce marketplaces and their seller dashboards (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub) is preferred.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts such as SEO for product listings and paid marketplace ads is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant coursework or degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory; prior marketplace experience is a plus.
