A Duty Medical Officer (DMO) provides round-the-clock clinical care, managing emergencies, and monitoring hospital inpatients.

Key duties include assessing patients, coordinating with specialists, and maintaining medical records.

Emergency and Patient Care

- First point of contact: Examine and stabilize patients arriving at the emergency room or ward.

- Emergency response: Manage critical trauma cases, code blues, and acute medical crises.

- Treatment administration: Give medicines and perform basic clinical procedures as needed

- Inpatient Monitoring and Coordination

- Ward rounds: Check on admitted patients regularly and track their recovery.

- Consultant liaison: Report major changes in patient health to senior specialists and follow their advice.

- Team collaboration: Work closely with nurses and support staff for daily care tasks.

Documentation and Compliance

- Medical records: Write explicit notes on patient histories, treatments given, and progress.

- Family communication: Update patients and families on health status and care plans.

- Hospital rules: Follow safety guidelines, infection control policies, and legal health standards

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
