Key Responsibilities

- Drive the company Tata Ace vehicle safely and responsibly for daily transportation and delivery activities.

- Transport furniture, modular kitchen materials, hardware, tools, panels, and other company materials to customer sites, project locations, suppliers, and other destinations.

- Ensure materials are properly loaded, secured, and transported without damage.

- Assist in loading and unloading materials whenever required.

- Follow the assigned delivery schedule and routes and ensure timely delivery.

- Collect and deliver materials, documents, invoices, delivery challans, and other company-related items.

- Maintain proper records of deliveries, fuel usage, kilometres travelled, and vehicle-related expenses.

- Check the vehicle daily for fuel, engine oil, tyres, brakes, lights, battery, and other basic requirements before starting work.

- Immediately report any vehicle breakdown, accident, damage, or maintenance requirement to the concerned supervisor.

- Keep the Tata Ace clean and in good working condition at all times.

- Ensure all vehicle documents, including driving licence, insurance, registration, and pollution certificate, are valid and available.

- Follow all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company transportation policies.

- Drive carefully and avoid rash, negligent, or over-speed driving.

- Coordinate with the site team, customers, stores, production team, and supervisors regarding delivery and material requirements.





- Ensure proper acknowledgement/signature on delivery documents after completing deliveries.

- Return unused materials, documents, or company items safely to the company whenever instructed.

- Support other logistics and transportation activities as assigned by management.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Valid driving licence for the applicable vehicle category is mandatory.

- Previous experience driving Tata Ace / Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) is preferred.

- Positive knowledge of Chennai and surrounding areas is preferred.

- Ability to handle materials carefully during loading and unloading.

- Good communication and responsible attitude.

- Should be punctual, disciplined, and reliable.

- Should be physically fit to assist with loading/unloading activities when required.

Strict Company Rules

- Consumption of alcohol or reporting to duty under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited.

- Drinking alcohol while on duty or before/while driving the company vehicle is strictly prohibited.

- Smoking or use of any intoxicating substances while on duty or inside the company vehicle is prohibited.

- Rash driving, unauthorized use of the vehicle, and misuse of company materials are strictly prohibited.

- The driver must not use the company vehicle for personal purposes without prior management approval.

- Any violation of safety, alcohol, or vehicle-use rules may result in disciplinary action as per company policy.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
