Electrical Maintenance

- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment in the DRI Plant.

- Maintain motors, transformers, switchgears, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs, soft starters, and control panels.

- Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore equipment to normal operation with minimum downtime.

- Perform cable laying, wiring, termination, and insulation testing.

- Monitor and maintain lighting systems and power distribution networks.

Equipment Monitoring & Inspection

- Conduct regular inspections of motors, drives, panels, and electrical installations.

- Monitor electrical parameters such as voltage, current, power factor, and load balancing.

- Identify potential issues and initiate corrective action.

Safety & Compliance





- Follow all electrical safety procedures, LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), and permit-to-work systems.

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company safety standards.

- Use proper PPE during maintenance activities.

- Report unsafe conditions and participate in safety audits.

Breakdown Handling

- Attend emergency breakdowns promptly.

- Analyze root causes of electrical failures and recommend corrective measures.

- Coordinate with operations and mechanical maintenance teams for quick resolution.
