Job Summary The School Health Camp Doctor is responsible for conducting health screening camps in schools, identifying health concerns among students, providing medical advice, maintaining health records, and referring students who require further evaluation or treatment. The doctor also educates students, teachers, and parents on preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct general health check-ups for school students.
- Assess height, weight, BMI, vision, hearing, and overall physical health.
- Screen for common childhood illnesses and developmental concerns.
- Identify students requiring further medical evaluation or specialist consultation.
- Provide first aid and immediate medical care during health camps, when required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and prepare camp reports.
- Educate students on hygiene, nutrition, vaccination, and preventive healthcare.
- Counsel teachers and parents regarding identified health issues.
- Coordinate with hospital staff and school authorities for smooth camp execution.
- Promote the hospital's healthcare services professionally during camps.
- Participate in awareness programs and community outreach initiatives.
Qualification
- MBBS or BHMS
- Registration with the State Medical Council/National Medical Commission (NMC).
Experience
- 0–3 years (Freshers may apply).
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
