Role: Program Head – Skilling & Livelihood

Udayan Care is hiring a senior, experienced Program Head to lead its nationwide Skilling & Livelihood Program , which supports underserved youth through vocational training, digital skills, employability courses, and placement support. The role requires strategic leadership across program design, implementation, expansion, partnerships, donor engagement, monitoring, quality assurance, and impact reporting.

The Program Head will be responsible for developing the overall skilling strategy, identifying beneficiary needs and market-linked skill gaps, building partnerships with government, industry, donors, and other stakeholders, and ensuring effective project management across multiple centres and states. The role also includes overseeing budgets, timelines, deliverables, curriculum development,



training quality, team leadership, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting.

The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree in social work, development studies, or a related field, with 10–15 years of experience in managing large-scale, multi-location skill development projects. Robust leadership, project management, communication, data analysis, donor management, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. Experience with government partnerships, marginalized communities, and emerging industry skill trends would be an added advantage.

Overall, this is a senior leadership role for someone passionate about youth empowerment, employment generation, and large-scale social impact through skilling.
