About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director – SoC Architecture to lead the architecture and technical direction of complex ASIC/SoC programs.
In this role, you will define system architecture, drive key architectural decisions, lead subsystem integration, and collaborate with RTL, Design Verification, Physical Design, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality silicon.
Note: This is a SoC/ASIC Architecture role. It is not an Embedded Software or Firmware position.Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end SoC architecture and system partitioning.
- Drive architecture trade-offs across power, performance, area (PPA), bandwidth, latency, and scalability.
- Define memory hierarchy, NoC/interconnect, cache coherency, and IP integration strategy.
- Develop architecture specifications and interface definitions.
- Collaborate with RTL, Design Verification, Physical Design, DFT, and system teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party IPs including CPU, GPU, NPU, DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, and security IPs.
- Support silicon bring-up, performance analysis, and architecture validation.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and engage directly with customers on architecture and product strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in SoC Architecture, ASIC Design, or semiconductor product development.
- Strong expertise in modern SoC architecture and subsystem integration.
- Deep understanding of NoC, cache coherency, memory architecture, power management, and high-speed interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of RTL design, verification methodologies, and physical design considerations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI, GPU, Networking, Datacenter, Automotive, or RISC-V SoC architectures.
- Experience with C/C++/SystemC performance modeling.
- Multiple successful SoC tape-outs on advanced technology nodes.
