Director - HR Business Partner

Meritto is one of India's leading AI Vertical SaaS companies serving the education sector. As we enter our next phase of scale, we're looking for a business-first HR leader to help build the organization of the future.

This isn't a traditional HRBP role focused on employee relations or process management. We're looking for someone who can partner deeply with business leaders, challenge organizational thinking, raise the talent bar, and build systems that make high performance scalable.

You'll work closely with the Founder, leadership team, and functional heads to shape talent strategy, organization design, leadership capability, and performance excellence as we prepare for our next decade of growth.

What You Will Drive

Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning

- Partner with business leaders on organization design, workforce planning, and capability building.
- Build talent strategies aligned with business priorities and future growth.
- Improve leadership succession and critical talent pipelines.

Performance Excellence

- Strengthen performance management through clear benchmarks, calibration, and merit-based decision making.
- Drive goal-setting, performance reviews, talent assessments, and succession discussions.
- Build a culture of accountability, ownership,



and continuous feedback.

Organization Effectiveness

- Drive organization design, role clarity, spans & layers, operating models, and team effectiveness.
- Improve productivity through organizational diagnostics and data-driven interventions.
- Build dashboards and people metrics that enable better business decisions.

Leadership & Talent Development

- Partner with leaders to strengthen managerial capability and build high-performing teams.
- Identify high-potential talent and create structured development plans.
- Drive leadership development initiatives linked directly to business outcomes.

Strategic HR Partnership

- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on talent, organizational challenges, and change management.
- Use people analytics and business insights to influence decisions.
- Champion Meritto's culture while helping the organization scale.
