Role Description The Director will lead the overall strategy, operations, and growth of Hello Kuppam, ensuring the platform effectively serves residents, visitors, and local businesses. This full-time, on-site role, based in Andhra Pradesh, India, includes overseeing business development, partnerships with local enterprises, and community engagement initiatives.

The Director will manage cross-functional teams, set performance goals, and monitor key metrics related to user growth, business listings, and platform engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating marketing campaigns, guiding product improvements,



ensuring high-quality listings and user experience, and representing Hello Kuppam in local forums and events. The Director will also be responsible for budgeting, resource planning, risk management, and long-term strategic planning to strengthen the platform’s impact and sustainability.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience directing cross-functional teams and overseeing operations.
- Business development and partnership-building skills, including stakeholder management with local businesses, community organizations, and service providers.
- Strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to set priorities, manage budgets, and drive measurable growth.
- Marketing and community engagement skills, ideally including experience with digital platforms, local outreach, and brand positioning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; familiarity with local languages in Andhra Pradesh is an advantage.
- Prior experience in platform-based businesses, local commerce, or technology-enabled services is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to work in office in Andhra Pradesh, India, and maintain strong connections with the local community.
