I. Job Summary:

The Director Analytics will lead the Business Intelligence and analytics function for AssetMark s Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for defining the analytics strategy, building scalable reporting frameworks, and delivering high-impact dashboards and actionable insights that drive business decisions across Product, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of dashboarding, reporting, and data consumption layers, while fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and business enablement.

II. Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategy, Governance & Vision:

Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Analytics function aligned with business goals.

Establish enterprise-wide standards for KPIs, metrics, and reporting definitions.

Ensure consistency and governance in how business data is defined, consumed, and interpreted.

Lead the design of scalable dashboard ecosystems using tools like Power BI and Tableau.

Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Dashboarding, Insights & Delivery:

Lead the design and delivery of high-quality dashboards and reports.

Establish best practices for data visualization, usability, and storytelling.

Drive insight-led decision-making through actionable analysis and recommendations.

Own the BI/reporting layer ensuring accuracy, reliability, and accessibility.

Define standards for data validation, auditing,



and reporting consistency.

Leadership & Business Enablement:

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing BI and analytics team.

Drive data democratization through self-service analytics and curated datasets.

Partner with Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering teams for seamless data pipelines.

Improve data literacy and BI tool adoption across business teams.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders to maximize business impact of analytics.

III. Years of Experience:

10+ years in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Reporting

Minimum 3+ years in a leadership or team management role

IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional):

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field

Master s degree / MBA preferred

V. Skill Set Required:

Must Have:

Strong expertise in SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)

Experience building scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks

Experience working with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks)

Robust understanding of data visualization and storytelling best practices

Experience working with enterprise data warehouses

Proven leadership in managing and mentoring analytics teams





Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice to Have:

Experience in Financial Services or Wealth Management domain

Understanding of transactional data and compliance requirements

Exposure to advanced analytics or data modeling concepts

Experience driving data democratization initiatives
