Job Summary To undergo structured training in production operations, manpower management, quality, safety, productivity, and shop-floor practices and gradually take responsibility for supervising production activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Learn and understand production processes, machines, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Assist the Production Supervisor in managing day-to-day shop-floor activities.
- Monitor production as per the daily production plan.
- Allocate work to operators/workmen based on production requirements.
- Monitor manpower attendance, discipline, and productivity.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned time.
- Monitor machine utilization and report breakdowns to the concerned department.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Identify and report quality issues, rejections, and process deviations.
- Follow and enforce 5S, safety rules, PPE requirements, and EHS procedures.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, checklists, and other required documents.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, and HR departments.




- Support supervisors in reducing rejection, rework, downtime, and production losses.
- Participate in Kaizen, continuous improvement, and problem-solving activities.
- Learn to conduct toolbox talks and communicate work instructions to operators.
- Handle shift-related issues and escalate major problems to the reporting manager.
- Develop leadership, communication, decision-making, and team-management skills.
