Role Description The Digital Marketing Trainee internship is a remote role focused on supporting online marketing efforts for CEC’s language and exam preparation programs. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in the creation and scheduling of social media posts, helping to manage online campaigns, and monitoring basic performance metrics. The trainee will contribute to content ideas for blogs, emails, and promotional materials, and help maintain the organization’s online presence across platforms.

Responsibilities may also include basic SEO support, updating website content under guidance,



and coordinating with mentors to promote courses and student success stories. This is an internship role designed to provide practical exposure to digital marketing in an education-focused environment.

Qualifications

- Foundational digital marketing knowledge, including social media management and familiarity with online advertising platforms.
- Basic understanding of content creation and marketing, such as writing straightforward posts, captions, or emails for educational audiences.
- Comfort using common online tools (e.g., office productivity software, social media dashboards, or website content management systems).
- Robust written and verbal communication skills in English, with attention to clarity and correctness.
- Curiosity about the education and study-abroad sector, with a willingness to learn about exam preparation services.
- Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and follow guidance from mentors while taking initiative.
- Enrollment in or completion of studies in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous exposure to internships, online courses, or self-directed learning in digital marketing is an added advantage.
