Machine Operation & Preparation:

​Set up, prime, and test hemodialysis machines and extracorporeal circuits according to clinical protocols.

​Monitor and adjust machine settings (blood flow rates, dialysate flow rates, and ultrafiltration) based on patient prescriptions.

​Perform pre-treatment safety checks and water treatment system quality tests.

​Patient Care & Monitoring:

​Greet patients, measure vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration) pre-, during, and post-treatment, and record accurate weights.

​Prepare and cannulate vascular access sites (arteriovenous fistula, graft, or central venous catheter) using sterile technique (where certified/permitted by state or local regulations).

​Monitor patients continuously throughout the dialysis session for complications such as hypotension, muscle cramps, nausea, or dizziness, and respond immediately to alarms.

​Safety & Infection Control:

​Adhere strictly to universal precautions,



OSHA standards, and infection control guidelines to prevent contamination and the spread of bloodborne pathogens.

​Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dialysis equipment, machines, and treatment stations between patients.

​Documentation & Collaboration:

​Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) of treatment parameters, patient reactions, and clinical observations.

​Communicate critical changes in patient status immediately to the charge nurse or attending nephrologist.

​Educate patients and their families on post-dialysis self-care, dietary restrictions, fluid management, and vascular access hygiene.

Pay: â‚ą12,000.00 - â‚ą20,000.00 per month

- Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:
