Role: DevOps Engineer — Infrastructure & Release Engineering

Location: Bengaluru, India (Prestige Shantiniketan, Whitefield – 560048)

THE ROLE:

We’re hiring a DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational reliability of a platform that processes real insurance claims and moves real money between institutions.

This is a founding engineering hire. You won’t be maintaining someone else’s setup — you’ll be building the company’s entire cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and release process from the ground up on Azure. Every deployment, every environment, every alert — yours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture

- End-to-end CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance on Azure DevOps - Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for all Azure resources - Environment management — dev, staging, UAT, production — with proper isolation and promotion gates - Container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) - Security hardening — network policies, secrets management (Azure Key Vault), SSL/TLS, RBAC

Deployment & Automation

- Automated build, test, and deployment workflows for .NET Core / Angular applications - Release governance — coordinating deployments with engineering and QA, managing rollbacks - Database deployment automation for MongoDB and SQL Server - Disaster recovery, backup automation, and RTO/RPO compliance - Cost monitoring and optimization of Azure resource consumption

Monitoring & Observability

- Monitoring, alerting, and observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana,



or equivalent - Proactive incident detection and response - System performance optimization and troubleshooting - SLA/SLO definition and tracking

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: DevOps & Cloud Expertise

- 6+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering - Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB / MongoDB Atlas, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, Key Vault, Azure AD) - Strong CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML-based) - Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform (preferred) or ARM/Bicep

Container & Orchestration

- Container expertise: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Helm charts - Hands-on experience deploying and managing containerized applications in production

Scripting & Automation

- Scripting proficiency: Bash, PowerShell, Python - Ability to automate manual processes and build automation frameworks

Monitoring & Operations

- Monitoring and observability: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK - Experience with application logging, metrics collection, and alerting - Strong understanding of SRE principles and practices

Network & Security

- Strong understanding of networking: VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints, DNS, Load Balancers, WAF - Security-first mindset: OWASP awareness, secrets management,



vulnerability scanning, RBAC - Database operations: automated backups, migrations, replication for MongoDB and/or SQL Server

Software Development & Collaboration

- Experience deploying and managing .NET Core and Angular applications in production - Experience with Git branching strategies, code review workflows, and release tagging - Ability to work collaboratively with backend, frontend, and QA teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Industry Experience

- Experience in regulated industries — FinTech, InsurTech, banking, payments, or government platforms - SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance experience - Experience migrating or integrating acquired platforms into existing infrastructure

Advanced Technical Skills

- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305) - Experience with blue-green or canary deployment strategies - Cost optimization — RI planning, right-sizing, spot instances - Advanced Kubernetes patterns and multi-cluster management
