Role Description The Development Intern role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Sacramento, CA, with some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the intern will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software components that support Base91’s platforms and tools for small businesses.

Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, debugging and resolving issues, documenting technical work, and collaborating with product and business teams to refine requirements. The intern will also contribute to improving user experience, support integration of feedback from the Base91 community,



and may participate in demos or internal presentations to share updates on development progress.

Qualifications

- Possess strong Software Development and Programming skills, including familiarity with modern languages, frameworks, and version control tools.
- Demonstrate solid Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize solutions for small-business workflows.
- Exhibit clear and effective Communication abilities for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders, both in-person and remotely.
- Show interest or experience in Sales-related activities such as understanding user needs, supporting product demonstrations, or contributing to customer-facing materials.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting from Sacramento, CA, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities in a startup-like setting.
- Familiarity with web or mobile application development, databases, and basic UI/UX principles is beneficial.
- Curiosity about small-business operations and enthusiasm for helping organizations improve systems, knowledge, and connections.
