Position: Design Engineer - Process Skids & Packages

Qualification: BE/BTech- Mechanical

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in Autodesk Plant 3D and Autodesk Inventor for designing process skid packages and piping systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing complete engineering deliverables for process plants, oil & gas, chemical, or similar industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop 3D process piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D based on P&IDs; and PFDs.
- Design process skid packages, equipment layouts, and piping layouts.
- Perform pipe routing, equipment modelling, and pipe support modelling.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
- Generate Piping Isometrics, BOM/MTO, and piping deliverables.
- Configure Plant 3D projects, piping specifications, and catalogs.
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.
- Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.
- Support manufacturing,



fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.

Required Skills

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Mandatory hands-on experience in:

- Autodesk Plant 3D

- Autodesk Inventor

- Experience in

- Process Skid Packages

- Process Piping

- Equipment Layout

- Pipe Routing

- Pipe Support Modelling
- P&ID; / PFD Interpretation

- Isometric Extraction

- BOM / MTO Preparation
- Fabrication & Manufacturing Drawings
- Knowledge of ASME/API standards.
- Exposure to Navisworks will be an added advantage.
