Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to design, plan, and execute heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The candidate will ensure effective, sustainable, and code-compliant HVAC solutions aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed HVAC designs, drawings, and system layouts.

- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams.

- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and energy regulations.

- Perform heat load calculations, ventilation analysis, and system sizing.

- Review and approve shop drawings and vendor submissions.

- Provide technical support during project execution and installation.

- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.

HVAC-Specific Responsibilities:

- Design air conditioning, ventilation, and exhaust systems.





- Perform cooling and heating load calculations using standard methods (e.g., CLTD/RTS).

- Select HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, cooling towers, and pumps.

- Design ducting layouts, piping systems, and insulation specifications.

- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and technical specifications.

- Ensure energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC system design.

- Coordinate HVAC systems with electrical, plumbing, and fire protection services.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

- 5-10 years of experience in design (depending on role level).

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC design tools

- Strong knowledge of HVAC design standards, ASHRAE guidelines, and local codes.
