Role Description The Delmia Ortems Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Delmia Ortems advanced planning and scheduling solutions for clients. This role involves analyzing manufacturing and supply chain processes, gathering business requirements, and translating them into effective Ortems configurations and workflows.

The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and project managers, to design planning scenarios, perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful deployments. Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining master data, developing scheduling models,



providing user training and support, documenting solution designs and procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement of planning and scheduling practices. The role also includes participation in client workshops, preparing technical and functional documentation, and advising on best practices for integrating Ortems with ERP and MES systems.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Delmia Ortems configuration, advanced planning and scheduling, and optimization of production workflows.
- Experience with manufacturing, supply chain, or production planning processes, including capacity planning and lead-time management.
- Knowledge of ERP/MES integration concepts and familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in data analysis and modeling using tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar, with the ability to interpret and validate planning data.
- Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, document functional and technical specifications, and translate business needs into system solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with remote, cross-functional teams and training end users.
- Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple projects or tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant certifications or Delmia/APS experience are a plus.
