Senior Data Scientist – AI & Automation

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead and drive the development of cutting-edge AI solutions and manage innovative projects within our organization.

This role requires a forward-thinking individual who can handle the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from ideation to deployment, while also delivering rapid Proof of Concepts (POCs) under our Innovation Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, combined with the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Project Leadership :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning models to solve business challenges and drive innovation.
- Manage the lifecycle of AI projects, including data collection, preprocessing, modeling, evaluation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business processes.

1. Rapid POC Development

- Develop quick Proof of Concepts (POCs) to test recent ideas and demonstrate the feasibility of innovative AI solutions.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact use cases for AI and machine learning within the organization.
- Deliver POCs with agility, balancing speed and quality to meet tight deadlines.

1. Innovation Program Contribution





- Actively contribute to the organization’s Innovation Program by exploring emerging technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML and proactively identify opportunities to apply them.
- Foster a culture of innovation by mentoring team members and sharing knowledge.

1. Data Management & Analysis :

- Handle, process, and analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to derive actionable insights.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the project lifecycle.

1. Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, define project goals, and deliver impactful solutions.
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other data scientists to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions.

1. Technical Leadership

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and team members.
- Establish best practices for AI/ML development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications :





- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI development.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering AI/ML projects from concept to deployment.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages, with expertise in libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in working with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and natural language processing (NLP).
- Experience with MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
- Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in developing and scaling AI solutions for real-world applications.
- Knowledge of emerging AI trends such as generative AI, reinforcement learning, and explainable AI.
- Experience in working within an innovation-driven environment.
- - Familiarity with design thinking and rapid prototyping methodologies.
