Role Description The Data Science Intern role at InLighn Tech is a remote, contract position focused on supporting data-driven projects. Day-to-day tasks include collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources, performing exploratory data analysis, and assisting in building and validating statistical and machine learning models under guidance from senior team members. The intern will help generate insights, visualizations, Qualifications

Foundational knowledge of statistics, including probability, hypothesis testing, and statistical modeling.





Understanding of data science concepts and workflows, such as data preprocessing, model development, and evaluation.

Experience or coursework in data analytics and data analysis, including working with datasets, creating visualizations, and preparing reports.

Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in data science (e.g., Python or R) and tools such as SQL and data visualization libraries or platforms.

Ability to work independently in a remote workplace, manage time effectively, and collaborate with mentors and team members.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.

Curiosity, willingness to learn, and interest in applying data-driven approaches to real-world problems; prior project or internship experience is a plus.
