Company Overview We are a talent acquisition and staff augmentation firm, and we are currently hiring on behalf of one of our clients, an organization in the financial services and enterprise IT infrastructure space. Our client is looking to onboard a Data Center Architect across multiple locations in India for a fully hybrid role that can be offered on a full-time, part-time, or contractual basis, depending on the candidate’s preference and eligibility.

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Data Center Architect to design and develop data center architectures that meet business requirements and industry standards. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data center solutions are integrated seamlessly, assess the feasibility of new projects, and maintain detailed technical documentation, while also guiding junior team members on architecture best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable data center architectures aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data center solutions smoothly and efficiently.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the feasibility of data center projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of data center designs, including schematics and technical specifications.
- Ensure everything follows relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices throughout project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members on data center architecture best practices.

Required Skills

- Robust technical knowledge of data center design principles, infrastructure, and industry standards.
- Ability to conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for infrastructure projects.
- Skilled in creating detailed technical documentation, schematics, and specifications.
- Working knowledge of relevant compliance, regulatory, and industry standards applicable to data center environments.




- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members on architecture best practices.

AI Experience
- Knowledge and understanding with AI-driven infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, or predictive maintenance tools is a plus.
- Awareness of how AI/automation is being introduced into data center design and operations workflows, though hands-on AI/ML experience is not required for this role.

Managerial Experience
- Provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and project success.
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams and align stakeholders around a shared architecture vision.

Operational Experience
- Conducted site surveys and feasibility assessments to evaluate infrastructure requirements and support successful project execution.
- Track record of maintaining accurate, up-to-date technical documentation across the project lifecycle.
- Familiarity with ensuring ongoing compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards throughout a project.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant hands-on experience in data center architecture or infrastructure design roles.

Certifications
- Data Center Design certifications such as CDCP, CDCS, CDCE, or an equivalent industry-recognized credential (preferred, not mandatory).
