Role Description The Data Annotator is a full-time, in office role based in Naroda Ahmedabad. In this position, the team member will review, label, and categorize data such as text, images, or transaction records according to defined guidelines to support analytics and machine learning initiatives.

Daily tasks include interpreting data sets, applying consistent annotation rules, verifying data quality and accuracy, and updating documentation when criteria or processes change.



The role also involves collaborating with supervisors or project leads to clarify instructions, meeting productivity and quality targets, and maintaining confidentiality and data security standards.

Qualifications

- Ability to carefully review and interpret data with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort working with digital tools, spreadsheets, and basic data management software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to follow guidelines and report issues clearly.
- Organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
- Willingness to learn current annotation standards, processes, and technologies.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a graduate degree in any discipline is an advantage.
- Prior experience in data entry, data labeling, or back-office operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
