Job Summary The Cybersecurity Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality cybersecurity training to students and professionals through practical, hands-on learning. The trainer will prepare course materials, conduct lab sessions, assess student performance, and mentor learners to build industry-ready cybersecurity skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver instructor-led training in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, penetration testing, and network security.
- Conduct practical lab sessions using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Train students in cybersecurity concepts, including:
- Ethical Hacking
- Penetration Testing
- Network Security
- Web Application Security
- Linux Fundamentals
- Windows Security
- Digital Forensics (basic)
- Malware Analysis (basic)
- Cloud Security (basic)
- Guide students in cybersecurity projects and Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and practical exercises.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and practical assessments.
- Provide career guidance, interview preparation, and certification support.




- Update training content based on the latest cybersecurity threats and industry trends.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with the academic and placement teams to ensure successful student outcomes.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Experience with tools such as Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, OWASP ZAP, Nessus, and other security tools.
- Good understanding of OWASP Top 10, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for learners.
- Strong problem-solving and mentoring abilities.
