About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Specialist Freelance Trainer to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will possess over 15 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a particular focus on Cyber Ark and Okta tools. This role involves designing and delivering engaging online training sessions aimed at a diverse learner base, including IT professionals, security teams, and organizational leaders.

The trainer will be responsible for creating comprehensive lesson plans, practical labs, and real-world scenarios to facilitate effective learning. Additionally, the role requires updating course content regularly to reflect the latest threats, tools, and industry best practices. The trainer will evaluate participant progress through assignments, quizzes, and practical exercises, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.

Collaboration with the Patch the Skill team will ensure training programs align with client needs and industry standards, making this a dynamic opportunity for an expert passionate about sharing knowledge and shaping cybersecurity professionals.

Qualifications Extensive expertise in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including familiarity with security frameworks, policies, and best practices.

Minimum of 15+ years of experience as a cybersecurity consultant or trainer.





Hands-on experience with Cyber Ark and Okta tools, demonstrating practical application skills.

Strong knowledge of Network Security principles, including secure network architecture, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Solid understanding of Application Security, encompassing secure coding practices, common vulnerabilities such as OWASP Top 10, and mitigation strategies.

Experience in Malware Analysis, including detection, analysis, and response to malicious software threats.

Proven experience in delivering technical training or mentoring, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.

Relevant industry certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent practical experience are highly desirable.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in remote training tools and e-learning platforms.

Ability to develop interactive content, including hands-on labs, case studies, and real-world scenarios, and work independently in a flexible freelance environment.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive online cybersecurity training sessions tailored to various learner groups.

Create engaging training materials, including slide decks, practical labs, case studies, and real-world scenarios that enhance learning outcomes.

Update course content regularly to incorporate the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and industry best practices.

Assess participant understanding through quizzes, assignments, and practical exercises,

Collaborate with the Patch the Skill team to customize training programs according to client requirements and industry standards.
