Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Custom Broker – Documentation qualified. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and submitting customs documentation for import and export shipments in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, internal operations teams, and customs authorities to ensure timely clearance, accurate filing, and resolution of documentation issues. The position requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, international trade laws, and tariff classifications,



while verifying all supporting documents and records. The role also includes handling customer queries related to customs processes, tracking shipment status, and ensuring clear communication and documentation for smooth cargo movement.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of customs brokerage processes, including documentation, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of export and import operations, including shipment documentation, tariffs, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with international trade concepts, INCOTERMS, and global logistics practices.
- Customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage queries, and maintain professional client relationships.
- Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or customs clearance will be an advantage.
- Ability to work accurately with documentation, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant logistics/customs software systems.
- Preferred educational background in International Business, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
- Capability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Mumbai and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
