Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abroad for a Critical Facilities Head / Data-Centre Site Head. The role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of critical data-centre facilities, including infrastructure management, uptime assurance, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

The individual will manage facility systems such as power, cooling, and security, coordinate maintenance activities, and monitor performance to prevent downtime. Daily tasks include supervising facility and technical teams, managing vendors, optimizing budgets, and ensuring that procurement and contracts support reliable operations. The role also involves analyzing operational data, preparing reports for leadership, implementing process improvements, and driving risk mitigation plans for business continuity.

Qualifications

- Strong Facility Management (FM) skills, with experience in managing critical infrastructure or data-centre environments.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for monitoring performance metrics, identifying risks,



and making data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Budgeting and cost control to plan, allocate, and optimize operational and capital expenditures.
- Effective Team Management skills, including supervising cross-functional staff, allocating resources, and fostering collaboration.
- Experience in Procurement, vendor evaluation, contract management, and negotiating service agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related technical field; relevant certifications (e.g., data centre or facility management) are an advantage.
- Knowledge of safety, compliance, and industry standards for critical facilities and data-centre operations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
- Proven ability to work in office in a high-availability environment, handle emergencies, and maintain operational continuity.
