Role & responsibilities

Preparation of Credit Appraisal Notes (CRANs) for infrastructure and project finance exposures.

- Conduct detailed credit analysis of infrastructure companies/projects including cash flow assessment, financial modelling, and project viability.
- Coordinate with business teams to evaluate and finalize credit terms and risk parameters.
- Interact with clients to obtain required financial, operational, and project-related information for credit evaluation.
- Monitor sanctioned infrastructure/project finance accounts in line with approved terms and conditions.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly monitoring reports for the portfolio, tracking project progress, cash flows, and covenants.
- Identify and escalate any deviations or non-compliances with appropriate action plans.




- Conduct site visits for infrastructure projects and submit inspection/monitoring reports.
- Manage and address internal or external escalations related to credit risk assessments.

Job Requirements:

- Experience in credit underwriting/credit analysis for infrastructure or project finance transactions.
- Understanding of project finance structures, concession agreements, and infrastructure sector risks.
- Robust financial modelling and analytical skills with working knowledge of Excel.
- Prior exposure to infrastructure sectors such as roads, power, renewables, ports, airports, or utilities would be preferred.
