As an empanelled partner of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and working closely with various Sector Skill Councils (SSCs) and State Skill Development Missions, the company implements a three-pronged strategy centered on Education, Employment, and Entrepreneurship.Vocman provides free, government-approved, and nationally certified training across diverse sectorsranging from Agriculture and Construction to IT-ITeS and Healthcare—aimed at bridging the industry skills gap and securing sustainable livelihoods for youth aged 18–45.

Job Purpose The CSR Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring impactful Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives aligned with Vocman’s core pillars of Education, Employment, and Entrepreneurship. This role involves managing relationships with corporate donors, supervising field-level project execution, ensuring strict regulatory compliance under the Companies Act, and driving sustainable social and economic outcomes in target communities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Execution





- Lead the end-to-end implementation of corporate-funded CSR projects, focusing on vocational training, women empowerment, and rural development programs.
- Translate corporate CSR mandates into actionable project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
- Supervise ground-level operations, including beneficiary mobilization, center setup, training delivery quality, and baseline/endline assessments.

2. Corporate Stakeholder Engagement & Fundraising

- Act as the primary bridge between Vocman India and corporate funding partners, maintaining transparent, high-touch communication.
- Draft high-impact grant proposals, pitch decks, and concept notes to secure CSR funding from corporate entities and public sector undertakings (PSUs).
- Conduct regular project updates and formal presentations to corporate CSR committees and boards.

3. Impact Assessment & Reporting

- Design and deploy monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure the qualitative and quantitative impact of skilling initiatives.
- Compile error-free project progress reports, utilization certificates, data dashboards, and comprehensive impact assessment case studies for corporate partners.
- Create rich content, success stories, and media documentation to support the corporate partner's internal and external branding requirements.

Compliance & Financial Governance

- Ensure all CSR project activities strictly comply with Section 135 of the Indian Companies Act, MCA guidelines, and relevant state regulations.
- Monitor project financial expenditures, ensuring strict adherence to approved budgets and timely financial reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to guarantee transparent financial and operational tracking.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Public Policy, Sustainability, Development Studies, or a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in CSR/Sustainability.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in managing CSR projects, corporate fundraising, or running large-scale social development programs in India.
- Sector Network: A robust existing network among corporate CSR heads, foundations, and public sector undertakings is highly desirable.

- Strategic Proposal Writing: Exceptional capability to draft technical, financial, and narrative project proposals that align with corporate strategic goals.
- Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Indian social sector, sustainable development goals (SDGs), and the skilling ecosystem.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Proven ability to navigate conversations smoothly between high-level corporate boardrooms and grass-roots community stakeholders.
- Analytical Ability: Experience tracking field data, analyzing socio-economic metrics, and turning complex field data into transparent, scannable corporate reports.
