Web Logix is a web development business based in Melbourne, Australia, with back-office operations in Chennai, India.

We are looking for smart and motivated individuals with excellent written and spoken English to join our team.

This is a varied role involving content creation, online research, email marketing and client communication. You will be trained in our processes, SEO fundamentals and the AI-assisted tools we use.

Previous experience in all these areas is not required. We are primarily looking for candidates with excellent English, good communication skills, strong comprehension and the ability to learn.

Website Content & Research

Your responsibilities will include

- Researching topics using Google, websites and AI-assisted research tools.
- Creating detailed and useful articles based on supplied topics and content outlines.
- Using AI tools to assist with research, content planning and drafting.
- Reviewing and editing AI-assisted content so that it sounds natural and provides genuine value to readers.
- Checking facts and information for accuracy before publication.
- Following detailed content briefs, instructions and SEO guidelines.
- Finding reliable sources and identifying relevant information.
- Improving article structure, headings, readability and overall content quality.
- Adding relevant internal links between website pages and articles.
- Learning about unfamiliar subjects and developing knowledge of assigned topics.
- Producing content consistently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and English.

This is not a copy-and-paste AI content role. You will be expected to research, think critically, verify information and use AI as a productivity tool. Email Marketing & Business Content

You will also be trained to assist with our email marketing and business communications, including:

- Researching and preparing content for email marketing campaigns.
- Writing and editing marketing emails in clear, skilled English.
- Preparing email subject lines, introductions, calls-to-action and follow-up messages.
- Proofreading emails before they are sent.
- Adapting content for different audiences and campaign objectives.
- Assisting with ongoing email campaigns and follow-ups.
- Using AI tools to help research,



draft and improve email content while ensuring the final communication sounds natural and professional.

Client Emails & Phone Communication As you become familiar with our business and processes, you will also communicate directly with clients and potential clients.

Responsibilities may include

- Reading and responding to client emails professionally.
- Answering incoming client calls.
- Making outgoing calls when required.
- Understanding client enquiries and providing appropriate information.
- Taking accurate notes and passing technical or complex enquiries to the appropriate team member.
- Following up with clients by phone or email.
- Maintaining clear and professional communication with Australian clients.
- Learning our services and processes so you can confidently answer common client questions.

You will receive training before being expected to handle client communications independently.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Excellent written AND spoken English is essential for this position.

We place greater importance on your English communication skills, comprehension, research ability, confidence, attention to detail and willingness to learn than on formal educational qualifications.

A university degree is not mandatory. Freshers and candidates without professional content-writing, marketing or customer-service experience are encouraged to apply if they have excellent English communication skills, strong comprehension and the ability to learn quickly.

Previous experience with SEO, WordPress, content writing, email marketing, customer service, ChatGPT or other AI tools is an advantage but not essential. Training will be provided.

Interview Process

Shortlisted applicants will first undergo a telephone screening. This will allow us to assess spoken English, communication skills, confidence and general suitability for the position.

Candidates who successfully complete the telephone screening will be invited to a face-to-face interview at one of our Chennai offices in either Guindy or Saligramam.

Candidates may also be asked to complete a short English writing, email-writing and research exercise as part of the selection process.
