Position Consultant Ophthalmologist – Cataract, Refractive & Glaucoma Specialist

Qualification

- MS Ophthalmology
- DNB Ophthalmology
- Fellowship in Cataract / Refractive Surgery / Glaucoma (Preferred)

Registration

- Valid NMC / State Medical Council Registration

Experience

- Experienced candidates preferred
- Fellowship-trained consultants are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and OPD consultations
- Perform Phaco Cataract Surgery independently
- Diagnose and manage Glaucoma patients, including medical and surgical treatment
- Evaluate and manage Refractive Errors and perform refractive procedures as per expertise
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Counsel patients regarding surgical options and treatment plans
- Coordinate with optometrists, OT staff, and hospital management




- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure adherence to quality standards

Skills Required

- Expertise in Phaco Cataract Surgery
- Strong clinical knowledge in Glaucoma Management
- Experience in Refractive Surgery will be an added advantage
- Excellent patient counselling and communication skills
- Professional, ethical, and patient-centric approach
