Role Overview The Consultant Data Analytics, MIS & Reporting delivers the data, MIS, and reporting needs of government and public-sector advisory engagements building dashboards, analysing data, and producing reports that support monitoring, decision-making, and programme delivery. The role spans data analysis, MIS design, and reporting automation, and requires strong analytical, data-visualisation, and reporting skills and the ability to translate data into clear insights for teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Data analysis Compile, clean, and analyse quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights for advisory engagements.
- Dashboard & MIS development — Design, build, and maintain dashboards and MIS to track programme and project performance.
- Reporting & automation — Prepare periodic reports, review decks, and automate recurring reporting for internal and stakeholder use.
- Data management — Structure, validate, and maintain datasets, data models, and data quality.
- Data visualisation — Develop clear charts, visual summaries, and reports that communicate insights effectively.
- Monitoring support — Support monitoring frameworks, KPI tracking, and progress reporting.
- Data collection & integration — Support data collection, surveys,



and the integration of data from multiple sources.
- Insight & recommendations — Translate analysis into findings and recommendations for teams and stakeholders.
- Documentation — Maintain data documentation, reporting formats, and trackers.
- Coordination — Coordinate with teams and stakeholders on data and reporting needs.

Skills & Competencies

- Data analytics — Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis and insight generation.
- Dashboarding & MIS — Skilled in building dashboards, MIS, and reporting systems.
- Data visualisation & reporting — Ability to create clear visualisations and professional reports.
- Data management — Ability to structure, validate, and maintain data and ensure quality.
- Analytical tools — Proficiency in Excel, BI, and analytics tools.
- Communication & coordination — Ability to translate data into insights and coordinate with teams.

Underpinned by attention to detail, ownership, and qualified conduct in dynamic, fast-paced public-sector environments. Qualifications & Experience

- Education — Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Preferred — Master’s in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; certifications in analytics or BI tools are an added advantage.
- Experience — 3–6 years of experience in data analytics, MIS, business intelligence, or reporting, ideally supporting government or public-sector programmes.

Tools & Technical Proficiency Mandatory: MS Excel (Advanced), Power BI / Tableau, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Workspace.

Desired: SQL, Python / R, STATA / SPSS, MIS & dashboarding platforms, and government data portals.
