Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai for a Construction Equipment Installation (Mechanical Engineer). The role involves planning and overseeing the installation, commissioning, and testing of construction-related mechanical equipment at client sites.

The Mechanical

Engineer will review technical drawings, coordinate with project teams and vendors, ensure compliance with safety standards, and troubleshoot mechanical issues during installation. Daily responsibilities include supervising installation activities, conducting inspections, documenting work progress, and supporting audits and safety procedures aligned with Nexfore Consulting’s service standards. The role also includes collaborating with clients to address technical queries, optimize equipment performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with practical experience in construction or industrial equipment installation.




- Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to interpret and adapt technical drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and tracking of installation activities and timelines.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D;) or technical problem-solving to improve equipment performance and installation methods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices for construction and industrial environments.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, documentation skills, and familiarity with audit or compliance processes are highly beneficial.
