Role Description The Computer Science and Engineering Faculty member will teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in core and advanced areas of computer science and engineering, design course materials, and conduct regular classroom and laboratory sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, mentoring and advising students, supervising projects and internships, and evaluating student performance through assignments, examinations, and presentations. The faculty member will engage in research activities, publish scholarly work, participate in curriculum development, and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects that may involve healthcare and medical technologies.

Additional duties include contributing to departmental administrative tasks, participating in academic committees, attending faculty meetings,



and supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in India.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in core computer science and engineering domains such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, computer networks, databases, and software engineering.

Experience or interest in specialized areas like artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or embedded systems.

Proven teaching skills, including curriculum development, instructional design, classroom and lab delivery, student mentoring, and fair evaluation practices.

Research-oriented mindset with the ability to design studies, write and publish papers, secure research funding, and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse learners.

Relevant academic qualifications, typically a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.

Familiarity with educational technologies, learning management systems, and modern pedagogical approaches, including outcome-based education.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across engineering, medical, and allied health disciplines, and contribute positively to institutional growth.

Industry experience, applied research exposure, or prior faculty experience in India or abroad is an advantage.
