Job Title: Compliance Secretary

Department: Legal & Compliance

Reports to: Company Secretary / Legal Head / Director

Role Summary The Compliance Secretary will be responsible for ensuring the company and its group entities adhere to all applicable statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements — including Companies Act provisions, RERA regulations, and other real estate sector compliances across all group entities.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and forms with ROC/MCA, RERA authorities, and other regulatory bodies across all group entities
- Maintain statutory registers, minutes books, and records as required under the Companies Act, 2013
- Coordinate and prepare documentation for Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and General Meetings (agendas, notices, minutes, resolutions)
- Monitor RERA registration renewals, project-wise compliance, and quarterly progress report filings for ongoing real estate projects
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, legal counsel, and consultants on compliance matters
- Track changes in applicable laws (Companies Act, RERA, FEMA, SEBI where relevant, labour laws) and advise management on impact
- Maintain compliance calendar/tracker across all 13 group entities and sub-brands, flagging upcoming deadlines
- Support due diligence processes for new projects, land acquisitions, or financing transactions




- Assist in drafting and vetting agreements, board resolutions, and compliance-related correspondence
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audits (statutory, internal, RERA)

Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Company Secretary (ACS/FCS, member of ICSI) — mandatory
- 3–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in real estate, infrastructure, or a group company structure with multiple entities
- Sound working knowledge of the Companies Act 2013, RERA Act & Rules, SEBI regulations (if applicable), and general corporate law
- Experience handling ROC filings, board processes, and secretarial audits

Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage compliance across multiple entities simultaneously
- Good drafting and documentation skills
- Working knowledge of MCA21 portal, RERA state portals
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Solid communication skills to liaise with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders

Preferred
- Prior experience in a real estate/construction company group structure
- Exposure to IBC (Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code) matters is a plus

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
