This position is responsible for planning and executing outreach activities like education drives, cleanliness drives & plantation drives, including community meetings, awareness campaigns, etc. in coordination with local partners and stakeholders.

The coordinator will build and maintain relationships with community members,



local organizations, and volunteers to support the foundation’s programs. Daily tasks include organizing events, maintaining records of outreach activities, collecting feedback from beneficiaries, and reporting progress to foundation leadership. The role also involves supporting volunteer recruitment and orientation, identifying emerging community needs, and helping shape initiatives that align with the foundation’s mission.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse community members.
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication and basic written documentation.
- Ability to cooperate and work collaboratively with volunteers, local organizations, and foundation staff.
- Experience or interest in volunteer management, including coordinating, motivating, and supporting volunteers.
- Demonstrated commitment or experience in community outreach, social work, or grassroots initiatives.
- Organizational and time-management skills to plan events and manage multiple activities.
- Basic reporting and documentation skills to track outreach activities and outcomes.
- Familiarity with local communities in and around Kohima is an advantage.
- Open to candidates from varied educational backgrounds; prior experience in community engagement or nonprofit work is a plus.
