Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Collection Officer role based in Meerut.

The Collection

Officer will be responsible for following up with customers on overdue payments, maintaining regular contact through phone calls and field visits, and ensuring timely collection of EMIs while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role includes updating repayment records, preparing collection reports, and coordinating with branch and credit teams to resolve customer issues or discrepancies.

Officer will also help customers understand their repayment schedules,



provide guidance on payment options, and escalate high-risk or delinquent accounts when necessary.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage collections, track payment schedules, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and outstanding dues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, explain loan terms, and handle objections or concerns.
- Basic numerical and analytical skills to understand EMI structures, reconcile accounts, and prepare explicit collection reports.
- Knowledge of local geography and willingness to conduct regular field visits within Meerut and nearby areas for in office collections.
- Customer-centric approach with a focus on ethical collection practices and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Comfort with using mobile apps or basic computer systems for data entry, reporting, and coordination with branch teams.
- Prior experience in collections, recovery, or retail lending in financial services or housing finance is preferred.
- Minimum educational qualification typically at the higher secondary or graduate level; additional training in finance or banking is an advantage.
