- Set up machines according to production specifications
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently to meet productivity targets
- Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality and consistency
- Inspect finished products to maintain high standards of quality
- Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize performance
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs when necessary
- Maintain accurate production logs and report any malfunctions
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to workplace regulations
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure workflow efficiency
- Ensure machines are well-stocked with materials to avoid interruptions
- Participate in training sessions for recent equipment or processes
- Communicate with supervisors about equipment performance and issues
- Assist in inventory management by tracking usage of materials
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for production efficiency.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role
- Knowledge of production machinery and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating specifications
- Physical stamina and strength to operate heavy machinery
- Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Commitment to safety protocols and workplace regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification is a plus
- Skills: CNC machine operations, knowledge on CNC, HMC machines, experience in Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhein controller
