Role Description The Cluster Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Chandauli, responsible for overseeing branch operations and business performance across an assigned cluster of branches. The role involves planning and monitoring sales targets, deposit and loan growth, and customer acquisition, while ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

The Cluster

Manager will guide and mentor branch teams, support staff development, and promote a culture of service excellence and ethical conduct. Daily activities include reviewing branch performance reports, conducting branch visits, resolving escalated customer issues, coordinating with regional leadership,



and implementing local initiatives that support financial inclusion and sustainable growth. The role also requires close coordination with credit, operations, and compliance teams to maintain portfolio quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong branch banking and retail banking management skills, including experience handling liabilities, assets, and customer service in a multi-branch or cluster environment.
- Proficiency in sales planning, business development, and achieving targets for deposits, loans, and cross-selling banking products.
- Ability to lead and develop teams, including mentoring branch managers, managing performance, and fostering collaboration.
- Sound understanding of banking regulations, risk management, credit processes, and compliance requirements.
- Comfort with using core banking systems, MS Office tools, and data reports to monitor performance and make decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to interact with customers, internal teams, and local stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications in banking or finance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in branch or cluster management in banking or financial services, preferably with exposure to mass market or inclusive banking segments.
- Ability to work on-site in Chandauli, travel within the cluster as needed, and adapt to local market conditions.
