About the Role:
We are looking for a Cloud Storage Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain large-scale storage solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. Hands-on experience with Ceph is mandatory. The ideal candidate also has experience with distributed storage systems, high-performance computing, and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Ceph clusters storage solutions.
- Manage data center hardware clusters and ensure smooth operations.
- Implement storage replication, monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Automate storage management using Ansible, Terraform, and Rook.
- Write maintainable code in Python for tooling and automation.
- Integrate storage solutions with cloud platforms and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Troubleshoot complex storage and infrastructure issues at scale.
- Learn about new tools and deploy them
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Ceph (mandatory).
- Proficient in Python and automation scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, cloud technologies, and containerization.
- Experience with capacity planning, replication, and disaster recovery.
- Familiarity with IaC tools like Ansible and Terraform.
Preferred:
- Experience with Rook or similar storage orchestration frameworks.
- Background in high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
