About The Role HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Solutions Engineer / Architect to join our dynamic team and spearhead cloud transformation initiatives for our enterprise clients across India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive cloud solutions tailored to client needs, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You will collaborate closely with global sales teams, technical architects, and industry partners to craft compelling go-to-market strategies, respond to client RFIs/RFPs, and drive cloud adoption and modernization projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in enabling Fortune 2000 companies to leverage cloud technologies for data engineering, AI-driven automation, and enterprise modernization, ensuring they realize maximum value from their cloud investments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering disciplines.




- Between 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience, with at least 2-3 years dedicated to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions.
- Deep technical proficiency in GCP services such as Compute, Storage, and Networking.
- Extensive experience in Data Engineering, including expertise in BigQuery, Looker, and data warehousing concepts.
- Basic understanding of AI and Machine Learning platforms like Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Proven track record of working with Global System Integrator (GSI) partners to develop joint solutions and scale go-to-market initiatives.
- Strong soft skills, including executive presence, effective communication, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with global sales teams and Google Cloud Architects to respond to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business goals.
- Develop ROI models and hyperscale funding strategies to optimize cloud consumption and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) for clients.
- Design and lead technical workshops to demonstrate cloud migration strategies, modernization approaches, and industry-specific use cases.
- Create reference architectures and solution blueprints for data center migration, cloud-native application development, and enterprise data engineering stacks.




- Design and implement enterprise-grade solutions utilizing Google Cloud Native Services such as BigQuery, Looker, and Vertex AI for data analytics and AI-driven automation.
- Ideate and develop Gemini Enterprise Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions tailored to enterprise needs, enhancing IT managed services and cloud operations.
- Partner with GSI and industry-specific stakeholders to build joint solutions, scale go-to-market strategies, and expand cloud adoption across industries such as BFSI, Telecom, Healthcare, and Manufacturing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions to clients.
