Role Description This full time, on-site Civil Site Engineer role is based at the Tata Motors facility in Sanand.

The Civil Site

Engineer will oversee civil and structural works for plant infrastructure, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Daily responsibilities include supervising on-site construction activities, coordinating with contractors and cross-functional teams, monitoring project progress, and resolving technical issues. The role involves reviewing drawings, conducting site inspections, verifying material quality, and preparing reports on work status and adherence to timelines.

The Civil Site

Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site layout, durability, and operational efficiency of facilities.

Qualifications

- Civil engineering expertise, including strong knowledge of Structural Engineering and experience working as Civil Engineers.
- On-site project management skills,



with proven ability to oversee On Site construction and infrastructure activities safely and efficiently.
- Quality-focused mindset, with practical experience in Quality Control for civil and structural works.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional certifications in construction or structural design are an advantage.
- Experience in industrial or automotive plant projects, preferably in large-scale manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and project management tools.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, use basic design and analysis software, and work collaboratively on fast-paced projects.
