Job Title: Civil Engineer, Highway Project, widening and strengthening (Hilly Area)

Location: Devprayag, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand (Project Site)

Project Type: National Highway (Rigid and Flexible Pavement)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer for our ongoing National Highway Project in a hilly terrain at Rishikesh. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge of hill road construction and maintenance activities, along with hands-on experience in structural and road works.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and execute site activities related to:

- Breast Wall construction

- Retaining Wall construction

- Bituminous (road) works

- Adaptable Pavement
- Road safety works (crash barriers, signage, markings, etc.)
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications and safety standards
- Coordinate with the site team, subcontractors, and management
- Monitor daily progress and prepare site reports
- Handle BOQ understanding and material planning




- Ensure timely completion of work as per the project schedule
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting using Excel

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Experience in National Highway projects, especially in hilly areas (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of hill road construction techniques
- Practical experience in retaining structures and pavement works
- Good command over MS Excel (for reporting, data tracking, BOQ handling)
- Ability to work at remote site locations

Experience:

- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in highway projects

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Experience in Highway or similar maintenance contracts
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage site challenges in hilly terrain
