Position title CIVIL ENGINEER Description REQUISITION NO: NIL/HR/TA/REF/009 DESIGNATION: CIVIL ENGINEER ROLE: CIVIL ENGINEER DEPARTMENT: – PROJECT PLANNING & EXECUTION REPORTS TO: DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER – PROJECT PLANNING & EXECUTION LOCATION: KHUNTI, CHOWKA-KANDRA ROAD, JHARKHAND Responsibilities Develop and oversee civil engineering plans for steel plant construction and related infrastructure.

Ensure all civil, structural, and foundation work meets engineering standards and safety norms.

Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and vendors to maintain project timelines and deliverables.

Monitor ongoing construction activities and provide on-ground technical support to site teams.

Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.

Identify construction bottlenecks and implement corrective measures to avoid project delays.

Collaborate with mechanical, electrical,



and production departments for seamless integration of civil works with plant operations.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.

Maintain updated documentation including project reports, schedules, and budgetary data.

Implement civil engineering best practices related to structural integrity, durability, and material selection.

Enforce safety standards and conduct regular risk assessments for all civil works.

Qualifications B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)

3–5 years of experience in industrial or steel plant civil engineering projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project, or similar tools

Knowledge of construction standards, codes (IS/IRC), and safety protocols
