Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Gritupp is a full time remote role responsible for defining and executing the company’s overall technology vision and strategy. The CTO will lead engineering and product teams, oversee software development lifecycles, and ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and reliable.

This role involves collaborating with executive leadership to align IT strategy and architecture with business goals, prioritizing product development initiatives, and managing technology projects from conception to launch. The CTO will establish best practices, mentor technical staff, evaluate emerging technologies, and drive continuous improvement in performance, quality,



and user experience across the platform.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Software Development, including designing, building, and maintaining scalable web-based platforms.
- Proficiency in IT Strategy and Architecture, with experience aligning technology roadmaps to business objectives.
- Demonstrated expertise in Project Management, including planning, prioritizing, and delivering complex technical initiatives.
- Experience in Product Development, collaborating closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to ship user-centric solutions.
- Proven leadership experience in senior technology roles, ideally within SaaS, marketplaces, or high-growth startups.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, security best practices, APIs, and data management.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional, remote environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience building and leading distributed engineering teams; familiarity with agile methodologies is highly beneficial.
