What are we looking for?
An actuarial professional with 8–9 actuarial exam credits and 6+ years of actuarial work experience (including internship), with solid IFRS 17 expertise and ability to lead valuation and reporting teams.
What does the job entail?
Purpose of the role
To manage IFRS 17 actuarial reporting, liability valuation, and financial disclosures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing insights that support strategic decision‑making.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead IFRS 17 liability measurement including Contractual Service Margin (CSM), Risk Adjustment, and fulfilment cash flows. Develop, validate, and maintain Prophet actuarial models for IFRS 17 calculations.
Perform experience studies, assumption setting, and sensitivity analysis to support valuation.
Prepare actuarial inputs for financial statements, disclosures, and audit reviews.
Collaborate with Finance, Risk,
and Audit teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Mentor actuarial analysts, review their work, and ensure timely delivery of reports.
Present IFRS results and actuarial insights to senior management and regulators.
Work Experience
7+ years actuarial work experience (including internship). Strong knowledge of IFRS 17 and actuarial valuation principles.
Essential Qualification
Minimum 8–9 actuarial exams cleared (IAI/IFoA).
Preferred Skills
Expertise in Prophet modelling and actuarial reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Knowledge of ALM, surplus analysis, and assumption management.
Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
