Role Description This part time, on-site Chemistry Teacher role is based in Pune and involves delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned chemistry lessons to secondary and/or higher secondary students.

The Chemistry

Teacher will prepare lesson plans, design instructional materials, and conduct classroom sessions that explain theoretical concepts and practical applications clearly. Daily tasks include assessing student performance through assignments and tests, providing constructive feedback, and offering extra support where needed. The role also involves collaborating with other faculty members,



maintaining classroom discipline, and staying current with best practices in science education to continuously improve teaching methods.

Qualifications

- Chemistry Education and subject-matter expertise in core and advanced chemistry topics.
- Teaching skills, including classroom management, student engagement, and assessment design.
- Lesson Planning abilities to organize structured, goal-oriented, and syllabus-based instruction.
- Strong Communication skills for clear explanation of concepts and effective interaction with students and colleagues.
- Basic understanding of Physics to support interdisciplinary science teaching when required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Prior experience teaching chemistry at school or coaching institute level is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune and align with institutional schedules and standards.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools for demonstrations, presentations, and student assessments is an advantage.
